On Saturday, March 27, 2010, there was a special screening to celebrate the week long engagement of 41st & Central: The Untold Story of the L.A. Black Panthers at the Culver Plaza Theatres. In attendance were the cast and crew and special guests including 9th District Councilwoman Jan Perry who presented the filmmaker, cast, and crew with special recognitions from her office. Afterwards, a special Q&A was held with the filmmaker and cast moderated by the Pan African Fil & Arts Festival director Ayuko Babu.
The film continues to run through April 1 with four screenings day.
